Jordi Martínez is the Chef of Calabrasa. Passionate about Mediterranean cuisine, he is always committed to applying new cooking techniques to the most traditional dishes. He studied cooking at the Ferrán Núñez Hotel School and at Hofmann, the Hotel School, apart from numerous courses and monographs that have shaped his personal cooking style.
He has worked in several restaurants in Barcelona, as well as in 5-star hotels advised by the best Michelin stars of the moment, such as Nandu Jubany and Carme Ruscalleda. This has allowed him to grow professionally until today when, at just 30 years of age, he offers us a menu of neighborhood haute cuisine within reach of all budgets.
With more than 10 years of experience in the gastronomy of Barcelona, Jordi Martínez's style could be defined as Mediterranean cuisine with contrasts with modern touches. We are undoubtedly facing one of the young talents with the best future in the city.
